BTS Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ dominates Billboard charts with a clean sweep, becomes first K-soloist in history to do so

Fans across the world are definitely listening to Jungkook’s debut solo single “Seven” days a week!

And perhaps, even more.

Jungkook scores an all-kill in the Billboard charts after his song “Seven” featuring Latto topped the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard Global 200, and the Billboard Global Excl. US. This remarkable performance in the charts made him the first Asian Soloist to top the three charts all at the same time.

He also joins BTS and Jimin as the only Korean artists who have made historical records on the Billboard charts. BTS’ hit, “Dynamite” also had an all-kill record.

While Jimin’s solo track, “Like Crazy,” made Jimin the first BTS member and South Korean solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100.

This unprecedented feat only further cemented his position as one of the global pop sensations of this generation, maybe even in history, especially after several achievements he already had in the past. He previously secured spots on the Billboard Hot 100 with, “Stay Alive,” and, “Left and Right,” with Charlie Puth. This record-breaking success including that of BTS and Jimin’s records places them side by side with other iconic and historic groups like The Beatles, The Black Eyed Peas, Genesis, and Destiny’s Child.

An even brighter future is surely ahead of the BTS star, especially with how he responded to this achievement on Weverse writing, “Let’s go even higher.”

As of this writing, the official music video, featuring South Korean actress Han So Hee, for “Seven” has over 105 million views, while the official performance video has about 22 million views.
