Taylor Squared reunited: Taylor Swift brings Taylor Lautner on stage during the ‘Eras Tour’ in Kansas City

Did we just go back to December or what?!

Swifties were in for a treat this week because following the release of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version),” Taylor Swift surprised her fans with a brand new music video for “I Can See You,” one of the album’s From The Vault tracks. The action-packed video features none other than Swift’s ex-boyfriend, Taylor Lautner.

Yes, you read that right: the Taylor Squared is reunited!

But of course, since this is Swift we’re talking about, the surprise didn’t stop there.

After the premiere of the “I Can See You” music video, Swift has yet again left her fans stunned as she brought out Joey King and Presley Cash—both who were also cast in the music video—on stage at the Eras Tour in Kansas City, with the Twilight star being introduced last.

“So, there’s someone else that’s here. He wasn’t in any of my music videos, but he was a very positive force in my life when I was making the Speak Now album,” Swift said, making the crowd roar in excitement.

She even went on to share how Lautner did all of his stunts in the music video before revealing that she became close friends with Lautner and his wife, Taylor Lautner (whose maiden name was Taylor Dome).

“He and his wife have become some of my closest friends, and it’s really convenient cause we all have the same name,” she joked.

To poke more fun at their names being the same, the singer-songwriter even took to Instagram to share a photo of her and the Lautners recreating the Spiderman meme where they all pointed at each other.

As soon as Swift called Lautner, the crowd went wild and even more so as he stepped onto the stage and did a backflip.

Lautner has praised the multi-award winning-artist, saying: “Taylor, I respect you so much. Not just for the singer you are, the songwriter, the performer, but for the human you are. You are gracious, humble, kind, and I am honored to know you.”

Swift and Lautner, together with King and Cash, shared a hug on stage.

Shortly after the music video was released and the reunion of Taylor Squared, Swifties went on to Twitter to gush and share their excitement.

Some Swifties even poked fun at Lautner’s little stunt on stage.

Swift and Lautner dated in 2009 after meeting on the set of the 2010 romantic comedy film Valentine’s Day. The couple was famously known for their ship name, “Taylor Squared.”

The two dated for several months before calling it quits the same year.

Swifties believed that Lautner was the inspiration behind “Back To December,” one of the tracks from her third album “Speak Now.”
