Looks like we’ll get to explore more the lives of the Wellsbury Peaches for two more seasons.
“Ginny & Geogia” is being renewed for the third and fourth seasons, according to an announcement made this year.
The Sarah Lampert dramedy series follows the life of a 15-year-old Ginny, whose have a more mature mind than her 30-year-old mother Georgia. They are settling alongside Austin (played by Diesel La Toracca) in a town in New England. Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey reprises their roles as the titular characters. Starring alongside Gentry, Howey, and La Toracca were Jennifer Robertson, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter, and Raymond Ablack.
When Season 2 of the dramedy began streaming on Netflix last January, it took the No. 1 spot on the streaming platform’s Top 10 English TV List with 180.47 million hours of viewership for the week of Jan. 2 to 8. It toppled the previously recorded opening numbers of other premieres such as Cobra Kai Season 5, The Watcher, and Emily In Paris Season 3.
As to the 3rd season of the dramedy, Sarah Glinski signed on as the producer — a replacement to Debra J. Fisher. Netflix told Variety replaced Fisher prior to the WGA strike that began on May 1.
