‘Bubuka Ang Bulaklak’ and other fun memes born out of Jisoo’s first solo single

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has finally released her long-awaited solo track, ‘Flower.’ The single, despite being upbeat, actually narrates one’s experience of how she evolved into a symbol of beauty and fragility after ending a romantic relationship.

As of this writing, the music video had garnered 85 million views on YouTube, five days after its media release, and has snagged the top spot of music charts.

Shortly after its release, avid fans around the world streamed and celebrated her new single. Meanwhile, Filipino fans (as always) found a way to make lighthearted fun of it. Filipinos showed their creativity and made some hilarious memes and parodies out of it.
