At this point, we may never guess Jungkook’s next move.
On February 28, Jungkook, the youngest member of the popular K-pop boy band BTS, officially deleted his Instagram account.
It seems like the K-pop idol has this ‘love-hate’ relationship with social media. It can be remembered that he has taken a break from social media for quite some time since the oldest member, Jin, left to serve the military.
Just when fans are enjoying Jungkook’s ‘comeback’ on the social media through livestreams via Weverse and IG, he made another (yet again) a surprising move.
On the same day, he went on a short live to greet his fans and serenade them with a few songs.
“I was at home feeling bored so I turned the live on for a little bit,” he said.
Shortly after the live ended, his fans went on a total shock when the singer’s Instagram with more than 50-million followers gone missing. Some even speculated that the account was hacked.
JUNGKOOK'S IG IS HACKED OR HE HIMSELF DID IT???

He took to the fan community site Weverse to assure that his profile was not loading because of his own doing.
“I have to quit Instagram. It’s not hacked 🙂 I didn’t use it so I just deleted it.. don’t worry!!!,” the translated Korean post reads.
The K-pop star also said on a separate post, “I just don’t use it. What can I do!!? I’d rather do Weverse lives once in a while.” He added, “I have deleted the app too and I’m probably not going to use it in the future too! I’m letting (you all) know in advance!!!”

While some fans were saddened about Jungkook’s decision, there are also some who admired him for being carefree and doing what he wants.
If y’all know him at all, Jungkook has never been a social media guy. He loves doing song covers and singing on lives. Him saying he’d rather do WeLives from now on is SO Jungkook. ❤️🩹

Jungkook deleting his instagram is the most random, carefree and unbothered idol i've ever known 💜
