BTS’ Jungkook captures ARMY hearts with his ‘vampire’ look in new photo release

If this is how BTS defines “hiatus”, then Armys are down for it!

It hasn’t been long since J-hope released his first official solo album, yet Jungkook has already dropped what he’s been probably cooking for quite some time now.

Two months ago, the SNS world almost broke down as the K-pop sensation suddenly announced their “hiatus” during their 9th-anniversary celebration dinner. This was immediately cleared up by their management, saying that the group is not breaking up, but will continue working on group and individual activities simultaneously. Only this time, the members will focus more on their solo projects.

In the span of two months, Armys got the BTS Anthology album, J-hope’s first official album, Jungkook’s trending collaboration with Charlie Puth for the song “Left & Right”, another song collaboration of the vocal line with Benny Blanco & Snoop Dog for “Bad Decisions”, and “In The Soop” episodes with V’s star-studded squad. Not to mention the comeback of Run BTS (the group’s own variety show) this month. (Whoo! What a time to be alive for Armys.)

But that’s not all, for it appears that the Bangtan boys still have a lot on their plates. On August 11, just when J-hope concluded his promotion for “Jack In The Box”, the BTS’ official Twitter account dropped a mysterious photo of the group’s “golden maknae” in a seemingly vampire-ish look.

The post reads, “Me, Myself, and Jung Kook #Photo_Folio #Editor_JK”.

That’s it. There’s no context or explanation at all. That’s why speculations have sparked that JJK1 is going to drop anytime soon.

Morning of August 12, Big Hit Music officially announced that the photo is the first teaser for the new pictorial project of BTS. The septet will release pictorials of every member starting off with Jungkook.

“Jungkook, who was the first runner in BTS’ new project, chose the concept of ‘strong’ that had not been revealed before and reinterpreted it in his own style to complete a new, unusual look,” Big Hit Music stated.

It was also revealed that Jungkook was involved in the overall work of the pictorial, from the planning stage to the concept, costume, and props.

A slew of mood teasers, concept films, and preview images might drop anytime in the coming weeks before its release on Jungkook’s 25th birthday, September 1.

A whole new side of Jungkook is going to be revealed anytime soon. While we expect the Bangtan boys to show their individualities in music, it seems like the BTS members are exploring different avenues to express their individualities. This “hiatus” thing shows a fresh side of the members that Armys haven’t seen before. So, it’s not that bad, is it?
