Yes Man
Carl Allen, played by Jim Carrey, is convinced during a seminar to try living his life following one basic rule: say yes to everything, leading his life to improve fantastically in every aspect beyond his imagination. However, with anything in this world, too much of anything can lead to unpleasant consequences. The movie teaches the lesson of being positive and flexible with the things in our lives, allowing ourselves to be more open to new experiences and opportunities. It also teaches moderation and how we should start being selective and learning when too much is too much.
The Truman show
Jim Carrey plays Truman, a man oblivious to the fact that his reality is everyone’s favorite show on television. As the story progresses, he uncovers odd things that lead him to realize that everything is not right in his reality. The concept and premise of the movie may be bizarre, but it does present the idea of seeing our reality from different perspectives. And, sometimes, our reality may be different from what others see.
Dead Poets Society
The heartwarming and inspiring movie stars Robin Williams as a teacher who uses unorthodox methods to teach his students to express their uniqueness. Though the film was released ages ago, the lessons it teaches have stood the test of time.Throughout the movie, Williams encourages his students to embrace who they are and to give everything they’ve got to make the most of every moment with energy and wonder. It’s a movie that everyone can watch to give them a little push to their next best thing.
