James Reid can cross out another achievement on his bucket list: strut down the Oscars red carpet.
The Filipino-Australian singer and actor is living his dream as he was spotted on a red carpet at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars 2022 viewing party, which was held last March 28.
The viewing party Reid attended was an event held by British rock musician Elton John with an aim to fight stigma and put an end to the AIDS epidemic by 2030. The event was attended by many famous names in Hollywood, including Lady Gaga, Donatella Versace, Heidi Klum, and Adam Lambert.
In a tweet by ABS-CBN International Hollywood correspondent Yong Chavez, Reid can be seen looking dapper in his black suit while posing for a selfie with the broadcast journalist. Chavez also shared that Reid said “he’s a bit starstruck” with the Hollywood stars he encountered.
“#JamesReid is here! He said he’s a bit starstruck at the moment – but I’d say he’s holding his own beside Hollywood stars,” she wrote. “His publicist at first said no to interviews but glad he stopped when I yelled my affiliation haha. Great to meet and chat with him!”

Chavez also shared a short video clip for Reid’s fans where Chavez asked the actor how he was doing, to which Reid responded: “Okay naman” (I’m okay).

Reid traveled to Los Angeles, California last February for work engagements and to visit his family, and since his arrival, the actor has been spotted hanging out with some celebrities, including the hip-hop group Far East Movement and Momoland’s Nancy McDonie.
