Thai actor Beam Papangkorn of ‘The Stranded’ passes away at 25

Thai actor Papangkorn Lerkchaleampote, known to his fans as Beam, passed away at the young age of 25.

Beam is widely known within the Boy’s Love (BL) community audiences, as he first rose to popularity after starring in the 2015 Thai LGBTQ+ film, Water Boyy (2015), and eventually starring in different drama projects such as Project S: Spike! (2017-2018), and The Stranded (2019).

With a promising career ahead of the young Thai actor, it came as a huge shock when the news confirming his death broke out. His ultimate cause of death remains unknown as it has not been disclosed yet to the public. But according to sources, the Thai actor was found unresponsive by his family. They tried to wake the actor up several times but to no avail. He was immediately brought to the hospital but unfortunately, he couldn’t be saved and was pronounced dead.

Upon receiving the heartbreaking news of the actor’s untimely death many of his fans, friends, and colleagues have taken to social media platforms to pay tribute and post their messages for the actor.

In an Instagram post by Nadao Bangkok, a talent management agency, they expressed their condolences to the family of the actor, and remembered their memories with the actor whom they have worked with.

Beam’s fans have also shared their grief and dismay of the unfortunate news. One fan remembered him as the original Water Boyy, and thanked the actor for being a part of this journey:

The actor’s colleagues also posted on their personal Instagram accounts to pay tribute and offer their condolences. Some of the actors who got to work with Beam shared photos and memories with the late actor through their Instagram stories, accompanied by prayers and messages.

The actor’s family has not yet released any public statement or other information about his death.
