WATCH: Take personal care of your BTS bias via the TinyTAN Tamagotchi line

Armys can now take care of their fave BTS members and carry them around in their pockets as the group gets their own line of Tamagotchi toys with pixelated versions of their TinyTAN characters.

The new ad from BANDAI shows the miniature toys featuringRM, Jin, Suga, V, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook in pixelated TinyTAN form. The toys come in red and purple versions.

The BTS Tamagotchi toys will be out in the market by September 17 via the BANDAI website.  The TinyTAN Tamagochis allow fans to interact with the characters by changing the K-pop idols’ outfits in different styles, and take care of their daily schedule so the characters can practice their routines.

The toy announcement was made when the group earned three Guinness World Records on social media, including breaking a record for most followers on Instagram for a music group. They also took home the 2021 Global Recording Artist of The Year award from the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.

Tamagotchi is a handheld digital pet created in Japan by Akihiro Yokoi of WiZ and Aki Maita of Bandai. This cute egg-shaped toy was one of the biggest toy fads in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
