Stranger Things actor Gaten Matarazzo says Season 4 is the scariest yet

The anticipation for Stranger Things Season 4 is even more hyped as actor Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin himself) teased the next installment to be the scariest one yet.

Matarazzo, who plays Dustin on the show, made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to spill on ‘Prank Wars’ and ‘Stranger Things’. He shared that he was surprised to see the level of scares just from reading the scripts — so what more when the Duffer brothers actually bring it to life?

“That’s the one thing I noticed when I was reading it,” said Gaten Matarazzo. “They’re going for it this year and that’s pretty cool.”

There’s no exact date for when Season 4 of Stranger Things will be released as the pandemic delayed the production of the series. However, it sounds like it’ll be worth the wait given what we know so far.

The upcoming installment will take on a more mature and darker tone as Mike, Eleven, Dustin, Lucas, Will, and Max have grown up since we last saw them.

How will the characters navigate high school now that Will and Eleven have moved away from Hawkins? Will they ever truly recover from the Upside Down and what new horrors are possibly waiting for them?
