DLSU BMS presents the 12th Business Management Students’ Convention: Excelerate—The Shift to Post-Crisis Progression

On its 34th year of excellence, the Business Management Society (BMS)—one of the top professional student organizations of De La Salle University-Manila, continues to serve with Passion for Excellence, fostering the holistic growth of its community of dedicated members and beyond. This is made possible by continuously providing developmental programs and opportunities rooted in its four pillars of Personal Development, Academic Excellence, Organizational Innovation, and Social Responsibility.

The Business Management Students’ Convention (BMSC) is an annual event of BMS that allows future corporate leaders to be aware of and be in line with the different trends in management practices. Every year, it aims to provide different perspectives to its participants, empowering them to become better students, better business leaders, and better social catalysts. Given the current pandemic and economic crisis that lead to having “the new normal”, the 12th release of BMSC intends to help management students create strategies and solutions for business recovery and sustainability. This year, it will feature the first-ever online conference, with renowned speakers from the Philippine corporate scene, and the first-ever online case competition of BMS, in partnership with the Management and Organization Department of DLSU.

Throughout many years of radical change on a global scale, generations of business leaders have paved the way to redefine and repurpose the business landscape. Moving forward, time demands businesses to both excel and accelerate for progress. Ever relevant as the world faces the COVID-19 pandemic, the 12th BMSC aims to effectively recognize paradigm shifts in the business landscape and to holistically develop future catalysts of social responsiveness, technological revolution, and ecological refinement. Its main theme, Excelerate: The Shift to Post-Crisis Progression, embraces the role of businesses in shifting towards a dynamic society, enhanced technology, and a revitalized environment in a time where progressive recovery is essential for continuity. Through its sub-themes of Social Responsiveness, Technological Revolution, and Ecological Refinement, the 12th BMSC: Excelerate allows businesses to stretch boundaries, optimize capacities, and develop better business solutions, actualizing the blueprint for a sustainable tomorrow.

The 12th Business Management Students’ Convention: Excelerate will be held from September 11-12, 2020 via Zoom Webinars. The event is open to all students, free of charge. For more information and updates regarding the online conference and the online case competition, kindly follow the Business Management Students’ Convention Facebook page. We can’t wait to Excelerate with you soon!
