These are heartfelt lyrics from Emman Nimedez’s song “Teka Lang” (Just Wait) which now hits differently after the Filipino Youtube vlogger died following his battle with acute myeloid leukemia.
Last August 16, fans, family, and friends mourned the unfortunate news of his death. His girlfriend, Peachy Santos, made the announcement through Nimedez’s Facebook page.

Led by gaming video creator Dexty MN, a group of gamers gathered to pay tribute to Nimedez with a 21-gun salute ceremony through the online game Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) using the hashtag, #ParaKayEmman.
Some of the vlogger’s closest friends who attended the virtual funeral mentioned that Nimedez was really an inspiration to everyone because he remained strong and victorious despite the pain he experienced during his medication.
