This John Wick graphic novel will let you explore the assassin’s ‘first epic vendetta’

When the first John Wick film hit cinemas in 2014, moviegoers were enthralled by Keanu Reeves‘s kickass portrayal of the retired assassin and his non-stop action scenes. Because of this, the movie not only garnered a 86% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes but it also spawned three more movie sequels–the last of which is set to be released in 2021. While fans wait for the premiere of the fourth film, they can enjoy reading through Wick’s adventures in the graphic novels of the same name.

Thanks to Dynamite Entertainment, fans of the film franchise can read about John Wick’s “first epic vendetta” in the first volume of the series entitled John Wick: Book of Rules Part One. According to the publication’s website, the story will follow the events before Wick was given the title of “Baba Yaga”.

“When a young John Wick emerges from prison and embarks upon his first epic vendetta, he comes up against a strange, powerful community of assassins and must learn how to master the Book of Rules that guides their lethal business. What are the Three Bills? Who is Calamity? And who was John Wick before he became the Baba Yaga?” the publication described the first comic book.
