5-Piece Boogie Fusion band, Basically Saturday Night has dropped 2 new tracks that would make you move and groove through the night. After releasing a single last November, the band continues to make waves across the spectrum with 2 new tracks entitled “What’s That Driving Song Pt. 2” and “Lightning Strikes”.
Like passengers at the backseat, the band continues to take us along their endless joyride in music. “What’s That Driving Song Pt. 2 follows a conversation of self-discovery – and ultimately, the journey towards growth and groove. The road to this place is long and trying, but we don’t speak of running away. We are not fools for seeking better days; rather, we are freed by it.”
Followed by the smooth and jazzy track “Lightning Strikes”. The track is an ode to the pensive mood of reflection. “The drive is fast but the journey is often slow. The conversation continues at a much slower pace. It is when we think we have arrived that we often find we have not. One starts to question: am I foolish? Should I change my course? Lightning strikes those who stand tall. Space is created to breathe, in order to realize what has come and what has yet to come.”
Listen to the tracks through all streaming platforms.
