This UK-based company will pay you to eat cake and drink champagne at wedding fairs

Let’s be honest here: Yes, we do love our friends but if there’s one thing that we love about attending weddings, it is actually the free cake and booze. And now, instead of waiting for another friend to get married, you can indulge yourself in some good food while getting paid!

ExpoCart.com, an online exhibition platform, is currently hiring a “wedding fair tester.” The successful applicant is required to travel around the UK, review wedding fairs, take photographs, and then submit a 1000-word review to the organizer. Since the review will be used to expand their services, as well as, their online presence, the wedding fair tester should look out for the things that are indicated in Expocart’s checklist.

The UK-based one-stop-shop platform also mentioned in their job posting that they will pay the hired candidate £50 an hour, pay for a plus one, cover all travel expenses, and even provide pocket money so he or she can try all the exciting things they offer at wedding fairs.

Jasmine Eilfield, co-founder and CPO of ExpoCart, said that wedding fairs are one of the most anticipated events across the UK.

“Wedding fairs are massive events across the UK, with thousands of engaged couples visiting them every weekend. So, with the wedding season coming up, we want to find out just what is currently on offer for brides and grooms,” explained Eilfield.

She also added that this is a perfect opportunity for flexible and wedding-obsessed individuals.

“We’re always keen to expand our services within each sector, ensuring we offer all things customers may want. I think this job is a great opportunity for anyone who is passionate about weddings, or even a great way for a bride or groom to plan their own wedding, whilst helping us with some of our own market research in the process. We’re excited to hire our Wedding Fair Tester and get them on the road to find all of the hottest trends that wedding fairs in the UK have to offer this year. If you fancy getting paid to spend your weekends sipping champagne and eating cake, please apply now!”

However, the sad thing about this opportunity is that the role is only open to those who live in the UK. Apart from that, the applicant must also be 18 years old and above, have a full UK driving license, proficient in English and have good writing and literacy skills.

Once hired, the Wedding Fair Tester is required to attend up to twenty exhibitions starting next month until the end of September.
