As I Lay Dying rocks Manila with an intense metal performance

Known for their metalcore sound, this California-based band As I Lay Dying returned to Manila last January 20 for their “Shaped by Fire Asia Tour 202o”, which was held at the Skydome SM City North Edsa. The band’s full lineup is composed of Tim Lambesis (vocals), Jordan Mancino (drums), Phil Sgrosso (guitar) Nick Hipa (guitar), and Josh Gilbert (bass).

Malaysian metalcore band, Massacre Conspiracy served as opening act for the show. After a series of performances, As I Lay Dying was greeted with joyful screams by their fans as they entered the stage.

The venue turned into a mosh party when the crowd formed a circle pit—enjoying the band’s performance of “Sound Of Truth”, “A Greater Foundation”, “My Own Grave”, and “Through Struggle”.
