Luke Holland Asia Tour 2019 Live in Manila

PULP is excited to announce that our good friend Luke Holland will be back in Manila to give us all a great show from behind the kit! PULP Live World and Skesh Entertainment present Luke Holland Asia Tour 2019 Live in Manila, happening on September 6, 2019 at the SkyDome, SM North EDSA.

Manila is sure to be among the highlights of his recently announced Asia Tour, which will be kicking off in the last quarter of the year. Perhaps known to many Filipino fans mostly for his time as the hard-hitting drummer of metalcore band The Word Alive, Luke Holland was last here in the Philippines when the band played at PULP SUMMER SLAM XV: Angels Descend in 2015.

However, it was even before The Word Alive that Luke had started making a name for himself as one of the most prolific drummers of his generation. About ten years ago, in 2009, he started his Youtube account, LukeHollandDrums. His following has since grown exponentially. To date, he now has over 500,000 subscribers on Youtube and has grossed over 85 million views.

In 2016, after almost five years with The Word Alive, it was announced that Luke would be parting ways with the band to pursue other musical endeavors and passions, having the whole band’s support. Going back to where he started, he focused on being more active on his Youtube channel, in addition to doing some session work, drum lessons, and occasional touring.

Luke moved forward on a journey of musical growth and exploration, and the success of his recent drum covers shows this. Coming a long way from his first viral videos like his cover of Far East Movement’s “Like A G6” or his remix of Ellie Goulding’s “Bittersweet,” he has also notably delved into the KPop world, with his hit drum covers/remixes of BTS’ “Fake Love,” BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” and other covers ranging from pop to alternative to EDM.

Now, ten years since he launched his drumming career on Youtube, is the most exciting time to witness a talent and proficiency that has grown unstoppably through the years. Don’t miss this striking showcase of grit and skill. Luke Holland Asia Tour 2019 Live in Manila happens on September 6, 2019 at the SkyDome, SM North EDSA.

These drums will beat with a purpose. Proceeds from this show will be for the benefit of The Ripple Society, a youth-oriented non-profit organization. It aims to gather the youth to take part in events and programs that could bring positive change to society, empowering them one day at a time.
