WATCH: LAUV Releases Music Video for ‘fuck, i’m lonely’ with Anne-Marie

Platinum-certified independent singer, songwriter, producer, and pop visionary Lauv releases music video for new single “fuck, i’m lonely” with Anne-Marie last week.

“fuck, i’m lonely” will be featured on Lauv’s upcoming debut album titled ~how i’m feeling~, in addition to the soundtrack for the upcoming 3rd season of the popular Netflix show 13 Reasons Why. In just 3 weeks, the track has over 35 million streams and is reacting globally.

Earlier this year, Lauv unveiled single “Drugs & The Internet,” marking the first release off the singers highly anticipated debut album titled ~how i’m feeling~, which will see him continuously rolling out singles before its release. The video, directed by Jenna Marsh (Nicki Minaj, Kanye West) sees Lauv getting pulled from reality into a digital universe. He gets trapped and loses himself to the overwhelming stimulus of a world where the internet gets brought to life.

Lauv also recently released “Sad Forever”, the second track off his upcoming debut album. The song was written in the midst of his own struggle with mental health. Lauv donated all proceeds from the track to various mental health organizations across the world that work to de-stigmatize mental health issues.

Last month, Lauv revealed online video game “Billy Meets World,” inspired by the cult classic “Flappy Bird.” Players in the virtual world, help Lauv’s dog Billy navigate the digital universe of Lauv’s music video for “Drugs & The Internet,” gaining rewards along the way. The game is available on desktop and mobile browsers. As Lauv rolls out new tracks off his upcoming debut album, new themed levels will be added.

After performing a triumphant sold-out show at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire earlier this year, he’s set to return to the UK this November to play two nights at the O2 Kentish Town Forum. These are his largest UK shows to date and the second night was added after the first was a rapid sell-out. Lauv’s singles “I Like Me Better” and “i’m so tired…” are now certified gold in the UK. Stay tuned for more news.
