Roger Vivier creative director Gherardo Felloni is bringing together two actresses from different generations, enlisting AnnaSophia Robb and Susan Sarandon to showcase the fashion house’s fall 2019 collection in a short film, Women’s Wear Daily reports, Thursday, June 27.
The label’s aim is to highlight the relationship between different generations, while also showing that style has no age limit.

For this new short film, Gherardo Felloni drew inspiration from the 1965 movie, “I Knew Her Well”, directed by Antonio Pietrangeli. It sees AnnaSophia Robb take the role of a budding actress who moves to the city to kick-start her career.
The movie and showbiz worlds seem to be an endless source of inspiration for the Roger Vivier fashion house. The label previously signed up Catherine Deneuve in December 2018 to promote its special holiday collection.
Rising star AnnaSophia Robb has featured in movies such as “Race to Witch Mountain” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. Hollywood icon Susan Sarandon has enjoyed an impressive acting career, with movie roles including “The Client”, “Thelma and Louise”, “Dead Man Walking” and “Bull Durham”. RGA/JB
