South Korean girl group, Dreamcatcher rocked SM North EDSA Skydome during their “Invitation to Nightmare City” concert last March 24, 2019. The group consists of JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon who described themselves as “eccentrically diverse.” Their take on Japanese manga and metal rock-inspired taint makes them distinctive and underrated in the K-pop community.
The group kicked off their Manila concert with the songs “What”, “Sleep-walking”, and “Chase Me” from the albums “Alone in the City,” “Prequel,” and “Nightmare” respectively. They also interacted well with fans as they mentioned Filipino phrases followed by their popular “aegyo” poses. Group member, Yoohyeon mentioned that they are warmly welcomed by their Filipino fandom called “inSomnias.”
The group stunned the audience with their own version of the following songs like “Attention” by Charlie Puth (performed by SuA, and Yoohyeon); “Boyfriend” and “As Long As You Love Me” by Justin Bieber (by Siyeon, Handong, and Gahyeon); and “I Don’t Like It, I Love It” by Flo Rida (by JiU and Dami).
Not only that, they even showcased their jaw-dropping dance moves and perfect harmony with an encore performance of “Full Moon” and “Wake Up.”
