In an alternate Philippines, this is how our public figures look like

For most politicians, a good reputation is a must and should be maintained especially during the campaign period. And being in the public eye, a positive image helps them gain trust and establish better connections.

However, there are some people who are not convinced of their visions and reliability. Because of that, citizens aggressively express their anger and disappointment through campaign rallies, blog posts, Facebook statuses, and of course, memes!

Filipinos are into memes and apparently, social media has become a natural outlet for us to make light of a serious situation. A Facebook page called, Ang Malayang Pilipino, poked some fun by uploading photos of public figures in the Philippines, showing the opposite version of themselves.

The post is captioned: “WARNING: YOU CAN’T UNSEE. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK” and it went viral with more than 18,000 shares, as of press time.
