This ‘sabaw’ bus driver forgetting and leaving his conductor behind is all of us

We all have our fair share of “sabaw” moments that either hit us like a bucket of cold water or made us wish we could turn back time to save us from utter embarrassment. You know you’re sabaw when you reach that level of stress or exhaustion that you don’t have any idea what goes on around you anymore. And whether you’ve only had three hours of sleep or a long beauty rest, it can always happen to anyone.

Apparently, even buses can also have their own relatable sabaw moments. You know how sometimes you forget that one thing you needed the most to get through the day? This is exactly it.

The bus driver was probably focusing too much on the road (as he should) or might be taking advantage of the light traffic that he forgot about the person he needed the most to help him run the bus.

According to John Pabs Calizo, the Tungko-Baclaran bus was speeding up and forgot that the bus conductor got left behind at SM Fairview. The driver even asked the passengers where the bus conductor was.

Calizo told InqPOP! that a passenger saw the bus conductor going down from the bus and nobody saw him going back inside the bus. Even the bus driver was unaware of the conductor’s whereabouts. The bus sped up and that’s when the driver suddenly realized that the bus conductor has gone missing.

The driver noticed that the passengers were saying “para” on their own or banging the door to let him know that they’re getting off the bus. Calizo said that the bus stopped for a moment and the driver called the bus company. He asked the driver if he knows where the conductor was but the driver said he had no idea since the conductor didn’t say anything before getting off the bus.

Calizo shared that some of the passengers didn’t get their bus tickets since it’s all with the bus conductor. The bus driver also could do anything with those who tried to get a free ride since the bus tickets weren’t with him.
