2017 is almost over and we’re so done with it, tbh

It’s been a rough year, you guys. After 2016 came and took a bunch of our favorite people away, a lot of us hoped that 2017 would be less shitty. Life doesn’t work that way, though, and many people felt like this year has been one never-ending nightmare.

We don’t want to get too melodramatic, but we almost died:

And yeah, sure. Some people had a wonderful year. But you don’t have to rub it in our faces, damn:

Honestly, we are just so done with 2017 and the last remaining month probably won’t change that:

Someone made the startling realization that everything has felt unreal since 2012:

Theory: We all died in 2012 and this is actually hell.

Some people believe that 2018 will be better. We want to feel the same way, tbh.

But the way things are going, it looks like a lot of the stuff we hated in 2017 will still be around next year. Realistically speaking, things might even take a turn for the worse. It’s fine if you can’t keep a hopeful face up for the next year but you should put on a brave one. Because whatever 2018 throws our way, 2017 has prepared us for it.

So, um, thanks 2017? Seriously just go away already.
