Artist turns people into Pixar-like 3D characters that looks so legit

Ever wanted to see yourself reimagined as a Pixar film character? You can commission someone to do it now.

Lance Phan is an artist who creates Pixar-like portraits based on photos sent to him by people. Scrolling through his feed, you get the feeling that you’re seeing stills from animated movies.

This is so much than just art. You are fulfilling the dreams that all of us had when we were kids…to be in that animation!” says one fan on Phan’s Facebook page, and we agree!

His website says that he’s currently fully-booked, so we’ll have to wait for the next time he accepts requests. In the meantime, check out some of our favorites from his gallery below:

Commission for Alexandre, the first of February projects. During this project, I realized that hiding the eyes take away the emotional value of the artwork so I made the sunglass transparent to fix it.

They say a blonde head has 150000 hair strands, so I tried to create it in this piece. Most of the hair is hidden in the back, so it doesn't matter anyway
