Livestreamer IShowSpeed has been temporarily banned from YouTube for allegedly violating Community Guidelines during his latest on-stream shenanigan, where he filmed himself jumping over Lamborghini and McLaren supercars one after the other.

Darren Jason Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed or simply Speed, is one of YouTube’s biggest stars, boasting over 27 million subscribers. He’s well-known for his energetic gaming and IRL (in real life) streams, often featuring wild stunts like setting off fireworks in his bedroom. This mix of excitement and unpredictability has made him a standout figure in the streaming community.
His attempt to jump over two supercars was successful and went extremely viral. However, this stunt may have breached YouTube’s moderation policies.
On August 5, Speed’s editor shared a screenshot of their creator dashboard on Twitter/X, showing that the channel had received an Active Community Guidelines strike.

In the video, he explained, “Hey guys, if you’re watching this, I’m banned on my main YouTube channel. I can’t stream or do anything at the moment. Just wanted to let you know. I love you all.”
Social media users have reacted to the news with a range of opinions. One user tweeted, “Sucks but I can see why he got banned. He has a ton of kids following him—kids, please don’t try this at home.”
Another user shared, “I mean now I understand this like his got young kids watching him who might try this and get hurt. So it’s reasonable on YT side.”
Meanwhile, some took a more humorous approach, with one person commenting, “Lmao at least we know it’s real,” and another user saying, “His aura was too much for YouTube.”
Back in 2021, Speed was also banned from Twitch following sexist comments made during Adin Ross’ stream. The ban was lifted after two years.
Now that Speed is taking a break due to the ban, fans are continuing to navigate his main channel, patiently awaiting his return. As of now, there is still no information on when YouTube will lift the ban.
