Fans delighted as Song Joong-ki makes cameo appearance as Vincenzo in ‘Queen of Tears’

The K-drama “Queen of Tears” has been dominating the internet with discussions about the intense scenes in each episode. With heavy themes of marriage and divorce, many viewers have mixed emotions regarding the drama itself. However, despite that, the ratings of the drama are successfully maintaining their high rating after the first half of the series. According to ratings released by Nielsen Korea, “Queen of Tears” ranked first in the number of viewers with a 16.143% viewing rating.

On March 31, the latest episode of the drama was aired with a special cameo featuring a famous character from another successful drama, “Vincenzo.” Both fans and viewers were overjoyed to see the sought-after Korean actor Song Joong-ki back in the drama scene after his long hiatus. Fans are glad that their favorite actor made an impactful comeback, which will surely bring more excitement to the overall plot of the drama. One viewer even expressed elation with the drama’s quality of plot, suggesting that it could undoubtedly win the “drama of the year” award.

In addition to the charisma of Joong-ki’s character, some have also pointed out the apparent chemistry between him and Korean actress Kim Ji Won, with whom he has already co-starred in plenty of dramas including “Descendants of the Sun” and “Arthdal Chronicles.” Viewers are glad to see that they both have the opportunity to work together again, and their connection is evidently fruitful, as seen in the success of the dramas they have been in. One fan even posted in X, saying, “I want them in another project, idc if they’re not a couple. Sibling/bestie or anything. I just need them on my screen.”

Mentioning the cameo of the actor in the drama, fans have now voiced out their desire for a season 2 of the drama Vincenzo. With the short exposure of the character, fans seemed to not getting enough of the drama hence their plea of seeing more of the characters in Vincenzo with the possibility of a continuation. One fan even called the attention of Netflix and said, “@NetflixKR in need of Vincenzo season2!!! No matter how impossible, we need to see Vincenzo and hong Chayoung comeback!.”

 

This comeback surely proves that Song Joong-ki is not yet done with his career, and fans are patiently waiting for the future projects he will appear in.

Even though the latest episode just aired, viewers are still on edge about how the story between Hae-in and Hyun Woo will progress.
