Cha Eun-woo treats PH Arohas to an unforgettable ‘elevator experience’ during Manila tour

After his previous visit during the Starry Caravan fan meet tour in August 2022, the singer-actor Cha Eun-woo returned to Manila for his “Just One 10 Minute: Mystery Elevator Tour” on March 16, 2024, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Ahead of the main event, Cha Eun-woo answered some questions from the POP! Team. He personally shared that fans can expect to see new sides of him at the upcoming fan meeting, with stages prepared for songs from his album ‘ENTITY’ that haven’t been shown before. The idol expressed that the moments he spends with Filipino fans are always memorable. “But amongst them, one that is really etched in my memory is how loud their cheers are,” he added.

When asked which K-Drama character he would like to join him on the ‘Just One 10 Minute: Mystery Elevator Tour,’ Eun-woo chose Kwon Seonyul from ‘Wonderful World.’ Seonyul’s character, with a weak heart since childhood, hasn’t had many experiences, so Cha Eun Woo thought it would be a great opportunity to create fun memories together and introduce this unique character to the fans.

The actor performed ’10 Minutes,’ originally sung by Lee Hyori, as his opening act. Arohas couldn’t contain their happiness as they entered the venue, eagerly anticipating the chance to see their favorite Korean star in person once more. According to the actor himself, it had been a while since he last visited Manila. To add a special touch, he decided to turn the event into more than just a fan meeting; it became a fan concert, promising even more enjoyment for the fans.

The fan meeting, hosted by Ms. Kring Kim, kicked off with the first part titled the ‘Concept Store,’ where props were displayed, and Eun-woo had to pick one that fit his taste. Each prop had a special price, which consisted of some personal questions he needed to answer.

He jokingly said that he didn’t want any of the props, but he ended up choosing the cat ears with mittens, crown, and a high school uniform! Indeed, everything he wore suited him well!

Eun-woo also shared that he wanted to try scuba diving and jet skiing in the Philippines, and even playfully bragged about his latest drama being watched and loved by many people.

Before going to the second part of the fan meeting, Filipino Arohas danced and sang along with him as he sang the Backstreet Boys song ‘As Long as You Love Me’ and his song ‘First Love.’

PH Arohas couldn’t contain their happiness as they moved on to the next part, which was the ‘Cha Cha Studio.’ Various conditions or poses were displayed on the screen, and Eun-woo would choose someone from the audience to take a photo with based on those poses.

Moving on to the concert proper, which was an intimate moment for Eun-woo and the Filo Arohas, the singer-actor performed some of his famous songs and danced to a selection of his mash-up hits, including ‘Crazy Sexy Cool,’ ‘Candy Sugar Pop,’ a rearranged version of ‘Jealousy,’ and a special song dedicated to his Arohas, titled ‘U&I.’

Eun-woo shared that only songs can convey sincerity, even across different languages, and proceeded to sing “Love Sailing.”

The fans’ last destination of the night was the ‘Constellation Observatory.’ Eun-woo shared that he would create a perfect constellation in the Philippines and reminisced about his fourth-grade experience in Tagaytay, which was indeed a happy memory he cherished.

Before singing his last song, “Memories,” he exclaimed that the Philippines holds a special place in his heart and that he loves the country dearly!

Eun-woo performed an encore stage, singing his song “Love so Fine” to conclude the event. Indeed, it was a perfect night for every Filipino Aroha.

This event was made possible by Pulp Live World.
