TharnType star, Mew Suppassit, lights up the crowd at his fan meet in Manila

Thai star Mew Suppasit, who rose to stardom after portraying “Tharn” in “TharnType: The Series,” returned to Manila once again for his Fan Meet last October 27 at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier in Taguig.

Mew

The night began with the actor serenading fans, featuring a pop medley that included “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele and “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus.

While most fans were already familiar with facts about him, they had the opportunity to get to know him better. When asked what he missed about his Filipino fans, he mentioned their energy.

Regarding his hidden talents, he revealed that he could fall asleep anywhere. Whether leaning against a wall or resting his head on a table, he would quickly doze off.

As for the songs he’s currently listening to, they include “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, of which he indulged the audience with a little sample. He also mentioned “Gento” by P-pop boy band SB19 and “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi.

Fans had the chance to play a game with Mew by participating in one of Pinoy’s favorite games, “Pinoy Henyo.” The actor won the game by correctly guessing 4 out of the 8 words flashed on the screen. As a prize, he rewarded them with three cute poses for them to capture in snapshots.

Mew had the opportunity to sample some Filipino snacks, including banana chips, ensaymada, and chocnut. He loved the banana chips so much that he even wanted to bring some home.

As a gift of appreciation, the fans created a video for him and returned the favor by serenading him with Eraserheads’ “With a Smile.”
