If you’re a whole-hearted K-Drama fan, you’ve probably heard or watched the fantasy series “Goblin.” Starring one of Korea’s best oppas, Gong Yoo, the series became a global hit and left people hooked to the characters and the story. “Kinain na ng sistema” as we call it.
Gong Yoo attracted a lot of fans again after his blockbuster zombie apocalypse film “Train to Busan,” and proved that he is still at the top of his game when he accepted Goblin as his first fantasy project. But it seems that this guy, Emman Nimedez, is about to give Gong Yoo a run for his money as the new “Pambansang Oppa.”
Emman’s parody videos of Goblin are making the rounds in social media and winning over Pinoy fans of Goblin. As a Broadcast Communication student at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, his acting and editing skills are so on point you’d think it’s too good for a parody.

Wait for his line and the subtitle on this one…

The endorsement logos at the end makes his videos even more hilarious! Maynilad for a rainy scene? LOL! Why not?!
Pambansang Oppa also found his own “bride” who resembles Korean actress Kim Go Eun’s character Ji Eun Tak, complete with her iconic red scarf! The photos are effortly shot to look like Ji Eun Tak and Pambansang Oppa were spotted dating by Korean news site Dispatch.
Someone even decided to add the logos of Dispatch to make it “legit.”
Emman teased his followers with an upcoming video and we can’t wait to see it!
Alden Richards may be the Pambansang Bae but now we have Emman Nimedez as the Pambansang Oppa.
*the fandom is shookt*
UPDATE: Pambansang Oppa added a new video and he traded Goblin’s buckwheat flowers to “sitaw”! Watch the hilarious video here:
