Hayley Williams of Paramore apologizes for kicking out fans during concert

American singer-songwriter and Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams expressed her apology for kicking out fans during their concert at the Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Paramore was formed in 2004 and is known for the hit songs “Still Into You”, “Misery Business”, “The Only Exception”, and “Hard Times,” among others.

Williams said that she was really not proud of what happened. The singer-songwriter was recorded on a TikTok video which shows that she paused from performing and called out a couple of fans.

In the viral video posted by madblackbimbo on TikTok, a man can be seen forcing his way through the crowd.

The man later reached a woman who appeared to be his companion, as seen in the video.

As the two are making their way back to where the man came from, the band stopped and Williams started talking to them.

“What is happening? Guys, yes, I will embarrass both of you,” the singer-songwriter said.

Williams added, “Both of you need to need to find somewhere else to take care of that sh-t because it’s not happening here.” Williams and the band were said to be performing their song “Figure 8.”

Despite what Williams did was applauded by the fans during the concert and online, the singer-songwriter still expressed her apology.

In a long post on the Discord channel of Paramore, Williams said, “My insides were triggered from numerous personal experiences not fit for a blog post or a microphone on stage at an arena.”

“My outsides were trying to maintain control of a situation I felt that myself and my bandmates were responsible for. Without the opportunity for a proper back and forth (and with a looming, strict show-curfew in the back of my mind), I bared my teeth like a mother wolf,” Williams added in the post.

Williams also said that she is sorry for the embarrassment or shame that she possibly has caused to the two people she called out during the concert.

She added that she is not saying that acting ignorant or entitled is okay during the show, but that she is apologizing for the way she handled the entire situation.

Hayley Williams has been reported to be in collaboration with Taylor Swift for the vault track of the Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) that is set to be released on July 7. She will be featured on the track “Castles Crumbling.” Aside from her, Swift will also feature the band Fall Out Boy in the song “Electric Touch” for the album.
