K-pop fans celebrate as FIFTY FIFTY becomes part of the official soundtrack for ‘Barbie’ film

Fast-rising K-pop girl group FIFTY FIFTY is set to release a song for the upcoming and highly-anticipated Hollywood movie “Barbie,” starring Margot Robbie and  Ryan Gosling and directed by Greta Gerwig.

The girl group will release the song “Barbie Dreams” featuring rapper Kali for the movie’s soundtrack.

News came out on May 25 about the soundtrack of the movie, where the lineup of the album was revealed. Other artists joining the soundtrack are Dua Lipa, Ice Spice, Nicki Minaj, Lizzo, Charli XCX, and even Gosling who plays the role of Ken in the movie.

Following the announcement of the movie’s soundtrack, Dua Lipa just dropped the music video of the song “Dance the Night” for the movie.

FIFTY FIFTY is a four-member group consisting of Aran, Saena, Keena, and Sio. They became well-known for their hit song “Cupid.” The group made its debut in November 2022.

Fans of the popular K-pop group celebrated this new milestone, with many expressing their joy and excitement on Twitter following the announcement of the soundtrack.

“Fifty fifty starting from the real bottom like I’m talking center lava of the earth and being on the barbie soundtrack is insane,” a fan tweeted.

“I’m so happy for fifty-fifty because never in their wildest dreams would they have ever thought that they would get a song so big that would get recognized and have them get featured on Barbie,” another fan tweeted.
