Seems like female ARMYs aren’t the only ones who can win a spot at a BTS member’s fan meeting.
An Indonesian online trading and investment platform owned by one of the largest conglomerates in the country is set to hold a fan meet event on June 11, 2023, with their most recently announced brand ambassador, BTS’ V.
The fan meet event has been organized with HYBE and will be featuring an interview and photo session with V himself. Users of the investment platform ‘SimInvest’ were given the opportunity to register for the “SimInvestival Goes to Korea” event from March 23 to May 5, where 80 lucky winners will be chosen to fly to South Korea and meet V there.
Upon the announcement of the 80 winners of the event last May 7, 2023, it was found out that apparently, majority of the Gold winners were fanboys of the idol. These fanboys had invested and transacted on SimInvest around 920,000 to 13 million Indonesian rupiah—a.k.a. they’re rich rich.
So, if you convert that to PHP, that’s about P3,490 to P49280, more or less.
These fans did not only make SimInvest loads of money, but also, proved that fans would literally do anything just to meet their faves.

And if it’s not public knowledge already, among all the BTS members, V (also known as Kim Taehyung, his birth name) has the greatest number of fanboys. He himself, knows that fact, and has actually gave a shoutout for all of his fanboys at some point.
