The long-awaited remix of the hit ‘LEFT RIGHT’ with the Chinese star Jackson Wang and the R&B icon Ciara was officially released this week. In April, the stars surprised fans at Coachella 2023 with an exclusive performance of the track that put the global spotlight on XG.
With Wang’s and Ciara’s iconic performance, XG entered Twitter’s worldwide trending topics. The b-side is part of the mini-album “SHOOTING STAR” and made history by entering the Mediabase Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart, the USA radio ranking. Besides staying on the charr for nine consecutive weeks, XG was the first Japanese group to achieve such a feat.
From Japan to Coachella’s international stage, the song has iconic hip-hop beats and a touch of R&B, Ciara’s trademark. The vocals of the new remix were rearranged by the stars. The release of the version featuring two of the most famous name of the music industry marks XG’s successful path.
Considered rising stars, the members are sharing their pre-debut journey with fans through the documentary series ‘XTRA XTRA’, whose first episode was released in April. The episodes show the training days and reinforce the recipe for such success: hard work, dedication, and talent.
