EXO’s Sehun set to steal hearts in his role as a charismatic basketball player in new K-drama series

K-Pop group EXO member, Oh Se-hun, will star in TVING’s new high-teen drama, ‘All That We Loved.’

The K-drama features a love-triangle story between best friends, Go Yoo and Go Joon-hee, who were both smitten by newcomer Han So-yeon. The two best friends wonder if their similar affection for So-yeon is an effect of cellular memory after Yoo donates his kidney to Joon-hee.

Sehun is set to steal the hearts of the viewers as the charismatic Yoo, with labelmate Jo Joon-young, who starred in JTBC’s 2020 drama ‘Live On’, playing Joon-hee and actress Jang Yeon-bin playing the role of So-yeon.

According to Sehun, he fell in love with his character, who has a charming personality, “he has no shortcomings, that’s why I fell in love with Go Yoo who is almost a perfect person,” he said in an online conference on Wednesday.

Sehun, who is the youngest member of EXO, also shared that he felt pressured to work with someone younger than him as it was his first time doing so, “that’s why my first assignment was, “what should I do to get closer to them?” So that’s why we’d continuously meet up and have a meal together. I think that’s how we got closer quickly and were able to film comfortably,” he said.

The drama, written by Kang Bo-ra and directed by Kim Jin-sung, is set to premiere on May 5 on TVING and will air every Friday.

This will be Sehun’s comeback in acting after a supporting role in SBS’ ‘Now, We Are Breaking Up’ and his first main role in four years, after ‘Dokgo Rewind’ in 2018.
