LE SSERAFIM is relentlessly empowering in ‘UNFORGIVEN’ MV

Fearless is what these girls really are.

On May 1, 2023, at 6 P.M. KST, Source Music and LE SSERAFIM released the girl group’s first studio album titled, “Unforgiven,” along with the music video for the title track of the same name. The album was released a day before the group’s 1st year anniversary.

“Unforgiven” features 13 tracks, including songs from the girl group’s first 2 EPs. The tracks “FEARLESS,” “Blue Flame,” and “The World Is My Oyster” had been re-recorded and re-released as part of the new album, following the departure of former member Garam.

Member Huh Yun-jin has also participated in the production of the album, specifically for the songs “Blue Flame,” “Impurities,” “Ever, Psyche and Bluebeard’s Wife,” and “Fearnot (Between you, me and the lamppost).” She also wrote the lyrics for “Fearnot (Between you, me and the lamppost).”

In less than a week after the pre-order period for the album had opened, LE SSERAFIM’s “Unforgiven” was reported to have surpassed 1.03 million stock pre-orders on April 11, 2023, making this comeback as the girl group’s biggest to date.

The album’s title track, “Unforgiven,” features ‘Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’ producer and guitarist Nile Rodgers and a sample of the main theme from “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.” The song’s lyrics convey the message that LE SSERAFIM will not be following the rules set by society but will be paving their own way.

The K-Pop stan community on the Internet have been highly anticipating LE SSERAFIM’s comeback, most especially Fearnots.

Congratulations to another successful album release, LE SSERAFIM!
