Running Man’s ‘A Decade of Laughter in Manila’ makes the long wait worthwhile

For Filo Runners, the long wait was all worth it

Three years into the waiting game, Filipino fans of the longest-running variety show in Korea, “Running Man,” finally met the (current) cast during their ‘A Decade of Laughter in Manila’ fan meet on April 1 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The Korean stars, Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Jong-kook, Song Ji-hyo, Jeon So-min, Haha, Ji Seok-jin, and Yang Se-chan, who garnered fans from all over the globe, showered the Filipino Runners some love with their all-out individual and unit performances. They also did interview sessions and played games with some lucky fans, with hilarious banter in between.

Here are some of the event’s highlights:

Filo Runners prove once again why the Philippines has the best crowd in Asia as they welcome the cast of Running Man with a scream:

Kim Jongkook flexed his muscles and even showed fans his abs during the opening ment, saying “I don’t usually do this in Korea.” The crowd then went wild:

Yu Jae-seok and Seojin amused fans with their usual hilarious banter as they gave each other a piggyback ride:

Indeed, the fun and laughter brought by the Running Man cast make the event worth the three-year-long wait of the Filipino fans.
