Pop sensation Keenan Te lets his guard for true love with his latest single ‘Scars’

Australian singer Keenan Te is making waves with his latest single ‘Scars’, a song that expresses a deep vulnerability of opening one’s heart to love again after being hurt in the past. Based on his current relationship, this track represents the hesitance of letting one’s guard down, but deciding to take the leap for a potential love worth it all. “Most people might hear the title ‘Scars’ and think it’s a break up song, but when you actually listen to the lyrics carefully, you’ll see that it’s a love song that reflects the realities of being in a relationship.“ The use of imagery like whispering in circles and streetlights presents such rawness and sincerity that truly captures the emotions of falling in love.

Along with this single, Keenan will also be dropping music videos (official and lyric) throughout March. Working with director Taine Noble, the official video was shot in multiple locations, all within a day!

Keenan first dropped a teaser for ‘Scars’ on TikTok 8 months ago, and it has already garnered 50,000 fan videos. “My fans have been waiting over 8 months for this song so I’m so glad it’s finally out for them to hear it. They have been so patient in waiting for the song and their support means everything”

Overall, ‘Scars’ is a powerful reminder that true love is worth all the risks, encouraging listeners to open their hearts to love and be vulnerable even if they have been hurt before.
