Tatiana Maslany is ready to smash in ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’s trailer

She’s green with a law degree, and a 6-foot-7-inch shero—Jennifer Walters is ready to fight supervillains and hulk smash her way to your screen!

Marvel has finally given the fans the first full look at their upcoming series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, with Orphan Black actress Tatianna Maslany playing Jennifer Walters, also known as She-Hulk.

In the newly-released trailer, the entertainment company introduced Walters, a lawyer who gets assigned by her boss to be the face of the firm’s superhuman lawyer division.

The almost 2-minute footage also sees Walters visiting her cousin, Bruce Banner, which leads to an experiment that causes Walters to transform into She-Hulk after getting a blood transfusion from Banner, who happens to be the Hulk/Smart Hulk.

The trailer then shows Walters navigating her complicated life as She-Hulk and a single thirty-something lawyer. “I’m not a superhero. That is for billionaires and narcissists and adult orphans for some reason,” Walter says in the clip.

Shortly after the official trailer was released, Marvel fans welcomed She-Hulk: Attorney at Law with mixed reactions. Some fans expressed their excitement about the show, while some users poked fun and gave critics to the trailer, particularly the show’s CGI or computer-generated imagery.

Meanwhile, other Twitter users have also slammed misogynistic and sexist comments about She-Hulk.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is a nine-episode series that follows Walters’ journey to becoming She-Hulk while balancing her personal life—including her career and love life.

Starring alongside Maslany are some of the familiar faces from the Marvel Cinematic Universe who reprise their original roles in the series, including Mark Ruffalo as Banner/Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. They are also joined by Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia with Jessica Gao penning the script. The series is executive produced by Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige, along with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Coiro, and Gao.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is officially set to premiere on August 17 on Disney+.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law isn’t the only Marvel Studios project that will be coming out in 2022. Check this out to keep up with all the Marvel series and movies to be premiered this year.
