Mapping out career paths has gotten rough now more than ever and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, economic downturns have never been more apparent. These downturns have spawned transformations in the labor market which ultimately accelerated new career trends. As a result, students, especially those from the first batch of the K-12 curriculum who are expected to graduate this year, needed a more precise look at what awaits them in the professional world. This calls for effective career talks that can help aspiring professionals understand how their skills translate into good jobs in the new normal setup.
The UPLB Grange Association aims to address these issues and transformations through its online seminar entitled “PATHWAYS: Navigating Through the Routes of Your Career.” The seminar seeks to employ strategies that help solidify career paths, improve vital career skills of aspiring professionals, and empower them in making rational decisions. That said, PATHWAYS 2022 highlights three (3) subtopics:
- Prepping up: Career Planning and Preparing Resume/CV and Cover Letters
- What’s New: Career Coaching in the New Normal
- What’s In, What’s Out: Current Career Trends for Professionals
The event is getting miles and miles closer. Join us on May 21, 2022, Saturday, at 3 PM, via Zoom and Facebook Live, and get readied up for the journey. The seminar is open to all UPLB and non-UPLB constituents. Register through this link: https://tinyurl.com/Pathways2022Reg
