BIGBANG reminisce their younger years with “Still Life”

Make way! The “Kings of K-Pop” have finally made their return with new music.

Following the release of “Flower Road” in the spring of 2018, BIGBANG released their newest single, “Still Life” at midnight on April 5, 2022, K.S.T—nearly four years after. This is their first music release as a quartet, following Seungri’s departure from the group and retirement from the entertainment industry.

“Still Life” is a song that expresses the BIGBANG members’ nostalgia as they look back on their youth by using the seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter). The song is described as a “memorable track with an organic and warm band sound featuring a timeless melody paired with beautiful lyrics”. Members G-Dragon and T.O.P. participated in the composition and lyrics of the single.

Emotions are on an all-time high for VIPS, the fans of BIGBANG. They’ve been through a lot as a fandom these past few years, especially with Seungri’s controversy. “Still Life” for them was a gift, and a trip down memory lane. It was a song about BIGBANG’s journey as a group, and how they were a part of it as they are still going strong to this day.

Welcome back, BIGBANG! VIPs and the K-Pop community have missed you terribly.
