Another Filipina on a Korean music show!
First, there’s Kriesha Tiu who performed on Kpop Star and now Elain Gwon knocked off every audiences and viewers with her powerful voice and amazing singing skills on Fantastic Duo.
“I’ve never seen a great foreigner singer like her in my 43 years,” said Seo Jang Hoon, one of panels in Fantastic Duo. It was unbelievable to hear the powerful voice coming from 7-month pregnant woman.
In this episode, Lee Moon Sae is challenged by a number of great singers who are waiting to perform with their dream partners: Kim Kyoung Ho, Kim Yu Na and K.will. Rock star Kim Kyoung Ho picks his partner whose voice is just as powerful as his, and K.will picks his partner who can harmonize perfectly with his expressive, mellow voice.
Fantastic Duo is music show in Korea where anyone with a smartphone can apply through the show’s official mobile phone application “everysing”. In this show, famous singers appear on stage and search for a partner to sing a duet with. The winner of the final round will receive 10,000 dollars along with an offer to release their song.
