‘Baby Shark’ to swim back to the big screen with a full-length film in 2023

It’s been six lengthy years since ‘Baby Shark’ became a cultural phenomenon and swept the whole world with its catchy and memorable tune, making the familiar melody hard to get off the back of everyone’s minds. But even if it’s already been that long, the renowned baby shark had found its way back to the big screen with a full-length film which is set to be released in 2023.

It’s not really ‘Baby Shark’s first time to be featured on the big screen. In 2021, ‘Pinkfong and Baby Shark’s Space Adventure’ had an exclusive theatrical release on October 3 and 4 in North America, viewed by kids with their parents.

Aside from that, the beloved character also had its television debut namely ‘Baby Shark’s Big Show’ which also gained love from children all over the world.

Meanwhile, when the news broke, people who have heard of it have some interesting things to say on Twitter.

As of writing, there’s still no information about what the full-length film is going to be about. But it’s safe to say that there will undeniably be new songs that kids will sing and bop their heads to for a while.

Presently, the original ‘Baby Shark’ video has surpassed 10 billion views making it the first YouTube content to reach that number – and the most viewed so far.

Due to its unmatched popularity, the Korean entertainment company that made the video, Pinkfong, was said to have made an estimated $120 million on January 2020 from the 2-minute and 16-second video itself.

The crowd has different sentiments and reactions about Baby Shark’s future film release. But surely, the millions of kids who are the film’s target audience won’t miss it with their moms and dads when it comes out in 2023.
