EXO leader Suho discharged from military service

EXO-Ls won’t be able to fight the feeling anymore!

The leader of famous K-pop boy group EXO has finally returned to being a civilian after finishing his 640 days of military service. Kim Junmyeon (김준면), better known as Suho, was privately discharged on the 13th of February. He was the third member to enter the military, enlisting back in May 2020 after fellow members Xiumin and D.O. The artist was also promoted to Sergeant while serving in the army.

Suho took to mobile application Lysn to post some photos of him in civilian clothes as a warm greeting to his fans. The selcas were accompanied by a short message expressing his gratitude for those who waited for him and that he missed EXO-Ls. He also wrote a heartwarming note addressed to EXO-Ls, saying that he missed them the most and that he is looking forward to seeing them again.

Fans of the group flooded their social media accounts with messages of celebration for the leader’s return. “WELCOME BACK KIM JUNMYEON” and “OUR GUARDIAN IS BACK” trends on Twitter along with hashtags such as #2getherWithSuho and #WelcomeHomeSuho. EXO-Ls also tweeted photos of the “L” hand sign along with their messages.

So far, three members have completed their mandatory military service. Chen, Chanyeol and Baekhyun are currently still serving, while youngest members Kai and Sehun are expected to enlist some time this year. The group is projected to finally be completed once again in 2025.

There are still some remaining years of waiting left for EXO-Ls everywhere. But then again, if the wait is enjoyable, it’s love. Fighting!
