Rebelde Class Batch 18

Ricky Lee, the most decorated scriptwriter in the country, is back for another scriptwriting workshop in Rebelde Class to help us make our ideas put into words and start writing scripts for his 2-day workshop: Scriptwriting in Film & Series. Ricky Lee’s classes are on September 4-5, 2021.

Known for her works “Oda Sa Wala”, “Gusto Kita With All My Hypothalamus”, writer-director Dwein Baltazar is about to lead her first class in Rebelde for Directing in Film & Series. Now, Dwein not only  works for film, but has also been in demand for series as well. Get to know how she paved her way into filmmaking and production, and how she became 2019’s FAMAS Best Director. Join her this September 11-12, 2021.

Rebelde is a diverse community of aspiring filmmakers from different parts of the country, which is  founded by J.E. Tiglao, a young, independent filmmaker based in the Philippines. Together with his comrades, they made films that have showcased in Cinemalaya, Gawad Urian, and other film festivals  abroad. Last year, they made their first feature film, Metamorphosis, the first Filipino intersex film and  bagged most of the awards at the Cinema One Originals.

Rebelde also created breakthrough events like the Rebelde Film Camp, a unique jamboree of filmmakers  in a secluded area to learn filmmaking and to celebrate the magic of cinema.
