In the story, there is an application called Last Friend where you can find someone who is also at their End Day. Mateo and Rufus got acquainted and they decided to make the most of their last day.
This book is a page turner so you’ll find yourself totally engrossed in its story. Every emotion the characters are feeling can be felt when you’re reading it thus making every information seem harder to grasp and accept.
What’s heartbreaking in ‘They Both Die At The End’ is just when you’re fully engrossed in the characters’ relationship and their exploits, you will remember why this book is titled the way it is. Still, it’s a very heart wrenching story that is worthy of the attention being given to it by bookworms.
It Ends with Us
‘It Ends with Us’ is written by Colleen Hoover. Colleen has written numerous romantic novels but each of her books are entirely different from each other. She is one of the authors who knows how to write a romance novel without making it common and cringe worthy.
Colleen Hoover knows how to write romantic novels that encompass true love and relationships that true people may have experienced. Her books contain flawed characters, true to life scenarios, and realistic relationships.
This is what makes her books one of a kind. Colleen Hoover doesn’t fail to impress readers with her works. And this is what makes ‘It Ends with Us’ worthy to be noticed and to be read by more people.
‘It Ends with Us’ is a story about Lily Bloom, a girl who runs a flower shop and a neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid. Lily grew up in an abusive home and hopes that she will not have to experience this again. When she met Ryle, she thought that things would get better.
However, the man he is slowly falling in love with is just as flawed and abusive as Lily’s father was. The truth is just another part of what’s heartbreaking in this story. The other half of it is letting the readers feel what Lily is feeling for Ryle and also making the readers form an attachment to him making every emotion you’re feeling just as genuine.
The conflict in this book is very serious so prepare yourself if you want to read this book.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
This historical fiction novel is written by Taylor Jenkins Reid. It follows the story of Hollywood bombshell Evelyn Hugo as she decides to have a final interview with unknown writer, Monique Grant.
Evelyn wanted Monique to write a biography about her life. Monique is honored by the request but can’t stop wondering why a famous Hollywood star specifically chose her when she herself is unknown and to her knowledge, is not connected to Evelyn in any way.
‘The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo’ is not like a typical novel you might have encountered. Sure it talks about her seven husbands but there is much more to that. Her spiraling career and the reasons behind the decisions she made will be unfolded page after page.
Readers will definitely be engrossed on how the life of this famous celebrity unfolds before their eyes. A page turner novel that will keep you reading until the last page. Get ready for the twists you will encounter in the story.
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
A novel written by V.E. Schwab and it follows the story of an 18th Century woman named Addie LaRue as she makes an agreement with ‘the gods that answer after dark’. Addie wanted to escape an unwanted marriage and ordinary life and this wish was fulfilled by the devil called Luc.
Luc gave her the immortality and freedom she wanted so badly. She can live as long as she wants or until she decides to finally give up her soul to Luc. However, Addie’s immortality has a consequence. Everyone she meets and gets to know her will forget about her existence.
No matter how deep the connection she had with other people, they are bound to forget about her. Addie has lived a thousand lives and has been an inspiration of countless art and literary pieces but still her name and existence is forgotten by others. Things change when a guy named Henry remembers her.
This book will make you feel what Addie is feeling as she embarks on a world where no one remembers her. It will also make you wonder how you’re spending your own life. Wondering if there is a significant mark you have imprinted to the lives of the people you connected with.
Definitely one of the greatest books published recently. Prepare yourself for a great read.
