Satisfy your cravings for K-snacks with these 6 local food shops

Let’s be honest: there’s not a day where we don’t watch K-dramas and drool over the food they eat. In fact, it’s such a torture to even think about how we were not in Korea to taste them by ourselves. More than the jjajangmyeon, samgyeopsal, and bibimbap, we also have the craze for the K-snacks we see in between scenes.

As the lead couples stroll around the streets, we see corndogs, fishcakes, bungeo-ppang,  tteokbokki, and other korean snacks and street foods in the background. And before we even know it, we’re just craving for them and looking for ways to satisfy our growling stomachs.

From breakfast pleasures to mid-week decadents, here are a few local food shops that can help you satisfy your K-snacks cravings.

Cafe Constancia

Chances are you have tried these treats already or just mustering up an appetite for the famous, ever-drooling corndogs. But wait, Cafe Constancia is “not your ordinary corndog” pining. With their satisfyingly ridden products, this one-stop shop has your fried lured to perfection.

More than the usual sausage, mozzarella cheese or the combination of two skewered and coated in cornmeal batter, they have squid ink-flavored bite on their menu.

You can choose among their treats of Classic corn dog (P69), Classic Cheddar (P89), Potato Mozza (P99), Cheesy Squid (P89), and Double Cheese (P99), or if you are after all these tastes, grab their classic bundle treat that comes with four dips for only P430.

To order, drop by their location at Quezon City or slide into their DM via Instagram

Kuro Kuro Crofffle

Bannering the name to bring Korea’s newest popular snack, Kuro Kuro Croffle gives their customers a fusion of our breakfast pleasures: croissants and waffles.

Each croffle is rainbow-like topped with sugary-sweet syrup and garnished with delectable candies. One of their best-sellers is the Matcha Choco Bits sprinkled with chocolate chips and matcha maple, available for P85.
