EXO dominates Twitter’s trending list as group makes their comeback

EXO is finally back, and EXO-Ls are overjoyed and emotional.

EXO successfully comes back as the “Kings of K-Pop” with their special album, “Don’t Fight the Feeling”, which was released on June 7, 2021 at 6 P.M. KST.

The special album sees the participation of 7 out of 9 members of the boy group, who were all seen in the accompanying music video, and in contrast to the spoiler video they posted a few months back. The title track, “Don’t Fight the Feeling” is a dance track filled with a “refreshing rhythm, synth sounds, and a heavy bass”, as described by Soompi.

In their former announcement, the group did not hint at member Lay’s participation in the album, due to his solo activities in China and his non-participation in their most recent comebacks. However, when the members’ individual teaser photos were released, fans were surprised and ecstatic to find out that their “prodigal” member has returned to the group, making them almost complete.

“Don’t Fight the Feeling” marks EXO’s comeback since “Obsession” in 2019, and Lay’s promotion with the group since “Lotto” in 2016. Since the music video’s release, topics and hashtags related to EXO such as “YIXING”, “SOTY”, “#DONT_FIGHT_THE_FEELING”, “KINGS ARE BACK” have been dominating Twitter’s trending list.

Here are some of EXO-L’s reactions to the group’s latest comeback:
