Wedding bells are ringing for RuPaul’s Drag Race alumna Plastique Tiara.
The social media star announced over the weekend that she and her boyfriend are “happily engaged” after three years of dating.
“He is the light of my life,” Plastique stated on MTV’s official RuPaul’s Drag Race recap show, The Pit Stop. “I’m just so happy, so excited.”
The Vietnamese personality also flaunted her enormous emerald-cut diamond ring on the broadcast, jokingly calling it a “drag ring.”
She joked with host Monét X Change, saying, “I was like, ‘I want it to be big enough so that I can wear it in drag.’”
Plastique shared several engagement pictures on her social media accounts, including one from the moment her now-fiancé proposed. Along with a closer look at the ring, the carousel featured a snapshot that highlighted even more details of the jewelry, such as the dazzling tapered baguettes set in the band.
Her fiancé wore a simpler engagement ring featuring a single signet stone.

“Baby boy this is serious,” Plastique wrote as the caption for the pictures, referencing the song “dandelion” by Ariana Grande, which she used as the background music for her TikTok slideshow.

In 2019, Plastique Tiara made her RuPaul’s Drag Race debut, finishing eight out of the fifteen queens. Later, she came back for the 2024 premiere of All Stars 9, where she tied for fourth place.
Her spectacular transformation videos on TikTok made her a viral star during the COVID-19 outbreak. At the moment, she has amassed 4 million Instagram followers and close to 12 million on TikTok.
