K-Pop merch collectors now have to be more vigilant in safeguarding their valuables. A.K.A., their prized possessions–the photocards of their ults.
Just a night after the episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho about the K-Pop collector who amassed approximately Php2.7M in K-pop merch (money she didn’t have, by the way), a twitter user reported their friend falling victim to K-pop merch theft, which quickly went viral. The reason: the ENGENE’s (ENHYPEN fan) valuable photocard got stolen while commuting.
The OP cautioned fellow K-Pop stans to be more careful with showing and hanging expensive photocards on one’s person, especially now that more people have an idea of how much these “pieces of paper” actually cost.
As if commuting isn’t hard already with the transport strike and all, now K-pop stans have to be 10x more cautious and careful while commuting.
K-Pop stans are voicing out their opinions on the supposed K-pop merch theft, with some blaming KMJS for it. Others, on the other hand, are giving out tips on how to keep their merch safe.
The bottomline is–nothing’s sacred anymore.
To our fellow K-Pop stans, please be vigilant. Keep your precious merch safe because you all worked hard for that.
